Fresno Pacific University Profile
Fresno Pacific University (FPU) is the central valley of the one institution accredited Christian university offering programs leading to bachelor’s degree, graduation adults, a master’s certificates and certification programs. It was founded in 1944 by the Pacific District Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches. U.S. News & World Report ranked the University in its upper-tier university degree every teacher in the West.
The university has four schools:
- The School of Business
- The School of Education
- The Faculty of Humanities, Religion and Social Sciences
- The School of Natural Sciences
The School of Business offers a number of undergraduate majors and graduate programs, including the Global MBA program (program 16 months), and an MA in leadership studies.
The School of Education offers the following Master of Arts: M.Ed., MA in TESOL, MA in administrative leadership and a master of arts individualized.
The Faculty of Humanities, Religion and Social Sciences offers a wide range of majors that prepare students for graduate study, including the Bible and religious studies, communication, English, liberal studies, political science, social science education psychological consequences, etc.
The School of Natural Sciences offers courses in a range of disciplines, including kinesiology, mathematics, biology, chemistry, pre-health, and environmental sciences.
FPU also offers online degrees, powers and continuing education courses, including the following programs of control (fully online):

- Kinesiology (MA) – athletic training emphasis
- Masters (MA) in Kinesiology: Physical Education emphasis
The university is fully accredited by the Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
45th – placed in Category 1 and evaluated at the University-Master’s (West) category (for schools offering full range of undergraduate and graduate), according to U.S. News & World Report 2010.
