Find consulting jobs from a technical and engineering background

This is the first of my series on going consulting non-business “backgrounds – the future posts include the liberal arts spirit degrees and non-MBA grad schools

It is very common for engineers to be interest in consulting – a demanding professional, well-remunerated work opens many doors in business and beyond .

As an engineer – whether it’s electrical engineering, computer science, civil engineering, or any of the other quantitative and analytical fields – you can have the following concerns:

  • You do not have enough business experience on your resume
  • understand the consulting business enough
  • Recruiters will not give you a fair chance because they assume that you have no people skills – preferred numbers and analysis
  • You have no recruitment of preparation – in particular, how to pack consultation interviews and case studies

In this post, I will say each of the above concerns, discuss you have strong market and develop , and share tips that will serve you well during the management consulting recruitment process .
