Quantitative thinking (thinking of numbers) is an integral part of corporate business career. Hence MBA entrance tests contains a heavy dose of quantitative problems. Such performance in solving problems is a manifestation of its total solutions capability.
Business schools see quantitative scores as an indication of higher order thinking and decision making skills. They believe that Quant thinkers able to process various business challenges. Quantitative personality is not necessarily a hardcore math person
